my buddy from new zealand is here!
she's called ngahua.
its a maori name if i'm not wrong
since i can't pronounce her name, she told be to call her na
her flight was supposed to land in singapore at 1045pm yesterday
but it was delayed till 3am.
so slept till 3 am, woke up and jie drove me to the airport to pick her up!
i got a shock when i first saw them. like (:O!!!)
couldn't believe that they're just as old as me...
they are tall and look like twenty years old.
i bet they think that i look like a primary school kid.
hmm. bad to be a shortie ):

anyway, returned home.
she gave us lots of presents!
every family member of mine has one :D
i've got the most (hahaha:D)
and they are all local products.
her whole luggage was filled with presents for everybody..
we showed her to the guestroom.
gooodniteee and slept.
but of course i couldn't sleep.
coz i kept thinking.
i'm worried D:
and my stomach was rumbling :

woke up quite early in the morning. watched tv blahblah.
na woke up at 11 plus and mum gave her breakfast!
like the thinks i don't get from breakfast.
egg, cereal, bread with jamm blah.
went out for tuition with jingyi.

took 170 to simlim square area.
coz jingyi's buddy nicole says that she wants to get some electronic stuff.
so we walked around and checked the prices for psp and mp3s.
made me feel like getting something.
but i've no money ):
so in the end, they got a 4 GB ipodshuffle for 100 bucks each.
had lunch at simlim food court.
na tired mixed veg rice!
was a little surprised cos' i thought she would order some western food.

went see bay lor temple!
it was very hot crowded and smoky.
so we brought them in and i roughly explained to na what's the drawing lots things for.
took some pictures at the outside of the temple :)
then went to look at the indian temple beside the chinese temple.
haha.
and i think the heat was killing them.
and next...
bugis street!
wanted to go bugis junction first then bugis street.
cos' bugis street was on the way so we went there first!
wootz:)
na bought some clothes for her family.
nicole wasn't felling very well so we decided to go jing' s house.
there were lots of people taking bus, so we cabbed back.
at jing's house, all of us sat in her room and talked for some while.
later watched ugly betty and ordered mac delivery.
they don't have delivery service in NZ.
haha:D
so they think that its quite cool.

came home at around 7 plus.
took a shower, had some fruits.
now its alrd 10 plus.
i doubt i can fall asleep D:

i think i'm quite a bad host.
didn't really make her feel at home
the worst thing is that i can't think of things to talk to them.

studying in NZ seems so stressless.
they said that the longest time they can study is 5 minutes and they feel the pressure.
and it seems that they don't really care about studies..

okay, anyways had acsi friendly game on tuesday.
and it was 7 innings loong!
around 3 hours.

went raffles city for dinner with joy and jean.

yesterday was just staying at home.
but at night, had a feast! :D:D:D

i ate lots of raw things yesterday.
i ate 3 types of raw fish and raw clamp too!
i ate half cooked swordfish which turned out to be v nice :D
anyway, just ate a lot of fish yesterday.

training.
was late for training.
then went everybody left frangi pani, joy jean and i were still there.

there was this dog unleashed and it got us all freaked out.
ok, not really me and jean.
but joy haha
went back boarding school and trained.
threw with jean, base threw and hittaway.
after that was situation.
and i was like fielding for the whole time.
soo freaking hot!
now my lips are like cracking and they are v red.

trngcamp'08 ended and i'm aching everywhere!
now, i've to rely on Ammeltz YOKOYOKO.
the smelly smelly thingo that my ahmah used to use :)
i put a lot of on my shoulder, it was burning.
like there's fire above my shoulder!

went for gentle chong's class today.

but surprisingly, time passed quite fast today :)
after that jing and i went to eat KFC Popcorn chicken!
we're like eating it everyweek.

just subscribed espn a few days ago and i got to watch some baseball today :)
so cool luh!
yankees (fielding) were draw with kansas city 6-6 at first.
and there were 2 people on base!
so the picther purposely walked the person batting so that bases were loaded.
i think they wanted a triple play/ double play something liddat.
when it bases were loaded, the next person who came to bat hit a home run
which is = grandslam!
the NYY people were like 0.0
but yankees managed to catch up in the next few innings.
so the score became 11-10 (still kansas city leading).
and then...
it was the last inning (9 bottom, yankees batting)
posada hit a v nice homerun into the crowd and the score was 11-11!
then after that 2 person got onto base.
it was johnny damon's turn to bat!
he made this hit towards right field which was almost a foul!
then a guy ran to home and the score became 12-11.
that's how NYY won!
interesting right! hoho:D
btw, johnny damon bat 6 times and he got 6 hits!

time passed by real fast today! especially when training camp's coming! :/:/:/ went jingyi's house to study in the morning. had lunch at her house too. then we decided that her house was too quiet for us to concentrate. so, we went KAP instead since the last time we studied there was so productive =) but it didn't turn out that way. we bought a meal and ice cream. i'm one who can't concentrate on both studying and eating. so got really distracted in the end! then jing and i started talking & talking. so in the end, we didn't study much): but today was quite funny. we ended up measuring our eyes and observing the people around us haha:D

my parents and sister happened to come back on the same flight! i thought they were coming back tmr or something. mum bought lots clothes for sis to wear/sell while sis bought jackets, clothes and slippers from japan! AND most importantly Ba Zhi Lian Ren. Its this flat flat cookie giap-ing the omgoshly delicious vanilla filling. ooo~ yummaye! :D:D:D

i'm talking to my NZ buddy now. so my buddy is coming at the end of june to for exchange in nanyang :D her father is an international bodybuilder! so cool lah. she gave me her dad's name and told me to google for his picture. super musuclar + big sized. she wanted to see pictures of me too! i'm using jie's laptop, so i tried to find pictures of me. she had this "family" folder, i went to see and saw lots of old pictures of me and my family. i think i look very cute last time, even with my short hair! saw lots of old pictures and i looked very different from now.

long day today. softball cip at kampong senang. jing and i met and went cityhall to take mrt to aljunied. we had lots of time so we started wondering around raffles city since we were abit hungry. since j.co donuts and soup spoon not opened yet, we went to eat Ah Kun instead! jing drank teh and ate an egg which got her all high afterwards while i drank this super gao3 milo :]

during cip, i was supposed to do welcome (the MP + laoahpeks) and cleaning. did the welcome job with jingyi, sally, maria and hannah! the welcoming part was quite slack cos' guest of honours usually come quite late. each of us were supposed to pin orchid flowers onto the VIPs' shirts. we waited and waited. finally the MP came. jingyi got to put a (circle/round) of flowers [i know it has a name...] over the MP's head since she was the tallest. but i didn't get to pin flowers onto anbody's shirt in the end :) hehe

the food during the fair was all organic. which means they are all vegetarian and healthy. the have organic chocolate brownie which was quite nice but a bit sticky and gluey in my mouth. the popiah was not bad + the glutinous rice with some mushroom slices :) slacked around during break time.

2nd shift was the cleaning shift! but didn't really do much lah. some auntie volunteers told me and jing to dry the utencils cos' they were going off. then we stayed that for quite some time wiping all the cups and plates. andd yknow the plates are made of wheat grass (izzit?), as in its not made of plastic. its made of some kind of grass and the plate felt like some lousy quality plastic plate. but again, its orangic and environment friend-ly

cleared the tables. being a table cleaner is fun. can get to sort out plates, chopsticks, spoons, bowls. then y'wld put everything together and carry it to the collection point just like those food court aunties :) yup. slacked around and went off to tend the fruit juice store!

its quite fun cos' you put lots of fruits, pineapples and ice into the blender and blend everythinggg up. as the people at the fair were getting lesser, we had to carry a tray and sell cups of fruit juice. 1 for $2.

after clearing everything at the fruit store, played at the playground. so paiseh lah. i knew the girl was a girl but accidentally asked shumin if she was her "brother". then we played blind mice! i keep getting caught -.- then my bladder was bursting and i went toilet to pee~

at the end, all the volunteers formed a circle and sang songs.

dinner at raffles city, mos. everybody went home then jing and i went for a half hour trying clothes spree. :D then we went home!
