Vivo City and the story of Alfred!!

My small eyes are going to be shut!! And my legs are going to break!! Why?? I went to the largest shopping mall in Singapore--> Vivo City!

Vivo City is located near Sentosa there, so no ERP. Just take highway, and I get there quickly. Vivo City has 3 levels and Basement 1&2. I think it would be better like that. Unlike Ngee Ann City or Wisma where you have to take lifts and escalators up and down.

Well today, my mum and I went to Vivo City. Number 1, to see how big is that and to get some clothes for New Year. I was in the shopping spree mood too! Anyway PSLE is over, so maybe shopping can help me relax and calm my nerves. But of course, I'm not THAT crazy over shopping. Just buy lots of stuff over a period of time, then hibernation like a Polar Bear.

The car park at Vivo City was quite huge. They've the multi-storey carpark and the basement levels car park. So my mum parked at B1. They have screen panels that show the number of parking lots on each level. Hence, it was pretty convinient for us to look for a parking lot. We're quite lucky as we parked on this parking lot which was opposite of the lift, in case our legs would break when we went back, which it did. They have also this funny little sheets of paper on the pillar to take, so that we won't get lost when we go back and get our car!

Looking at level 1, I was thinking, "Wow.. This is huge.." and saw some expensive brands like GAP and Zara. As my mum and I had not have lunch, we wanted to head to a food court in the mall. We had no idea where it was, and we headed to the information counter. SO, there were two food courts, Kopitiam and Food Republic. Then, we went up to Food Republic which was on the third floor. It looked quite old and retro, or even more old and retro than the one is Wisma. I like the design and stuff like that as everything looked quite new to me. I sat down and had Sliced Fish Bee Hoon, my all-time favourite.

Next we went to GAP, at the first floor. It should be American's Giordano if i'm not wrong. I could see it everywhere I go when I was in US. But in Singapore, GAP is like pretty expensive for us. There were hell lot of shops, including those famous and huge ones like Zara, Mango, Esprit, Topshop, Forever 21 etc.

My mum and I didn't even have the time to shop finish the whole first level of Vivo City even though we shopped from 3 plus to 9. Is it because of the fact that we have short legs? Maybe not.. I think we spent to much time on trying clothes as it is free!! =) Self-appreciation. Shan't talk so much about Vivo City le.. It's really a huge place for everybody to explore!! So sad, I didn't take any pictures. By the way, is Vivo City pronounced as Vee-voh city or Vye-voh city?

Guess what? I actually ran from Marriot Hotel, across the road to Shaw Centre, and across the road to Takashimaya, wearing my "kok-kok" shoes to get a Teddy bear. Its is called Alfred!! Sounds familiar right. The reason why I named it Alfred, is because it looks like the Alfred in Princess Hours. (Wanted to upload Alfred's picture. But stupid blogger lar!! Next time then..)Lame right.. Sorry la. I'm sooo addicted to Princess Hours nowadays. And i've finished watching 24 episodes le!! Yay! But the bad news its, i'm gonna be bored for this few days to Thursday. Or maybe even Friday. During class, everybody would play either dai-dee, speed or cheat. Sighhh.

ARGHHH. HAZE is back again.
