Parents talk, KAP incident

Yesterday, there was a talk by the Principal and the 4 Heads of Subjects in my school hall for the parents to help their child. I wasn't supposed to go school. But -------- left her homework under her desk in the class. So we went to school together to get her homework. Unfortunately, the class door was locked and cannot be opened. We've tried asking teacher for help. Its lock. Can't be opened. Story of getting homework end. We were like "HuH. What are we going to do for two hours?" Before going to the school, I didn't have breakfast. Though I was not hungry yesterday. We came out of an idea of going Serene Centre's Mcdonalds for breakfast. As it was 9+ in the morning, it was so warm outside. We still had to walk to Serene Centre which was quite far. So we 打消that 念头.
"Sigh.. So what are we going to do for the next 1 hour +? It will be sooo boring"
"Or we go King Albert Park Mcdonalds to eat lar?"
"Ok.. Its not so far from the bus stop than Serene Centre"
"But I have no money"
"Huh.. I lend you lor"
"But i've no ez-link card"
"Uh oh.. I got not enough coins leh."
"Nvm. I will borrow money"
"Borrow from who?"
(Pointing to the back)"Her lar."
"Ok lor"

Next scene:
"Do you have any coins?"
"No. I only got notes"
"Hai yah.. Ok.. Nvm.. Lend me some"
"Ok. How much?"
"2 dollars"
"Ok" (She took out her two dollars)
"I'll return you back on Monday"

Next scene:
"So how? No ez-link card how to go King Albert?"
"Err.. We go Siling's house and borrow from her the ez-link lar!"
"Ok.. Let's go"
(So we started walking out of the school. Towards Siling's house.)

Next scene:
(Taking out the phone.. Dialling numbers..)
"Ring ring... Ring ring.."
"May I speak to Siling please?"
"Hello?"
"I'm --------.. Can you borrow Minghui your ez-link card or some coins? We are taking bus to Mcdonalds"
"Ok"
"Thanks"

Next scene:
(Gate opened. Siling came out.. Gave the ez-link card to me)
"I'm not sure if there's money in the ez-link"
"Never mind.. If there's no money in the ez-link, i'll use the coins"
"Ok.."
"Thanks.."
"Byebye.."
(All the things said are "recorded" by my brain! So its not that 仔细)

That was how we got to King Albert Park! ------ and I ate hushbrowns and drank orange juice. The aircon so shiok. Not like outiside. Hot and sunny. Bus directory had helped us to get from Coro to KAP and from KAP to Coro. I'm not one who takes bus frequently. What a nice experience.

When we got back to Nanyang, the Sun was scorching. I was already perspiring. And we saw this guy running under the big, hot sun. We were like
"Wah.. Xiao.. Running under the hot sun."
"If its me, i'll run at 5am lor."
"He is like doing saunna"
(Continued walking)
"Wah..Finally reach school liao"
"Damn hot lor."
"What's the time ah?"
"10:45"
"We should have stayed longer at KAP lor.."

We walked up to the foyer and checked on our parents. They were still talking about English and some stuff. I tried calling my mother so many many times. Yet, she didn't answer any of my calls. ------- and I were standing at the foyer. We were like
"When can this end?"
The speaker was like "Lastly, .............."
"Wah.. Finally leh.. Lastly......."
"Lastly of this slide I guess.."
"Huh.. Wah.. Xiao lor.."

At last, the talk had overshot. To 11:15 or even later. My mum and I left at 11:15..

I must remember to return the money back tomorrow!
